Liverpool Vs Aston Villa
No way liverpool are losing this, they'll see it out, but won;t risk leaving too many far forwards.
Liverpool win, 1 goal difference, suarez.

Stoke Vs everton
hmm, everton to win, even though stoke might nab one.
Everton win, 2 goal difference, baines.

Arsenal Vs reading
Arsenal haven't got the killer touch at the moment, and reading will have nothing to lose.
Draw, 1-1, wilshire

Swansea Vs tottenham
These two will try outscoring each other, it'll be a high score but one will nab it.
Tottenham win, 1 goal difference, walker

City Vs newcastle
Bounce back with a point to prove.
City win, 3 goal difference, tevez

Man U vs Sunderland
Surely this one should go to script
Manu win, 2 goal difference, rooney

This looks like it could be quite cool. And with my total lack of football nous, as evidenced by my team in the Fantasy Football, hilarity should ensue! Let's gi'e it a go then!

I say deffo win for the Pool, but we're usually embarrassed by them, so let's say 2 goals difference, agree with Suarez (duh!)

Stoke Vs everton

Think we could be looking at a draw here. Fellaini for me. He didn't score last weekend (because I picked him for my team, of course!) so I reckon he'll be hungry for one, or maybe two. Stoke will also want to win so should make a game of it.

Arsenal Vs reading
Arsenal haven't got the killer touch at the moment, and reading will have nothing to lose.

Dunno, Arsenal have a lot to prove really. I'm going to be mysterious and cryptic, and say the Gunners win, but motm for me I'm going for LaFondre.

Swansea Vs tottenham
These two will try outscoring each other, it'll be a high score but one will nab it.
Tottenham win, 1 goal difference, walker
Swansea are on a roll. I vote for 2 goals diff in favour of the Swans, come on there Michu!

City Vs newcastle
Bounce back with a point to prove.
City win, 3 goal difference, tevez
City to win, 2 goal difference, agree with Tevez, assuming Mancini plays him. Side prediction: if Mario plays, he gets sent off.

Man U vs Sunderland
Surely this one should go to script
Manu win, 2 goal difference, rooney
Agree with that, but I'm going for RVP as my motm (No, the fact I have him in my team has nothing to do with it! What a thing to say!)

I think it's because some people took offence to his username, so he picked the least offensive one he could, as something of a dig at them?

Oh dear, oh dear, how the wheel of fortune mocks us all! So how did we do? Let's check...

Yeah, good one there, both of us. Totally wrong. Up the Villa!

Think this was a draw, wasn't it? Pity we didn't vote for "Biggest knob on the pitch" --- Fellaini would have won that!

Well I was certainly wrong about Tottenham/Swansea, wasn't I? Still, you have to give Michu great credit for bravery: knocked out (okay just for a few seconds, but still) during the match!

Disappointing overall performance from the Swans though. Suppose Spurs deserved it in the end.

Arsenal v Reading tonight...

Will update first post later.

Okay, here are my (no doubt wildly inaccurate) predictions for Saturday...

Sunderland/Tottenham --- hard one to call. Both will be on a high after wins although perhaps Sunderland may feel they have more to prove. Still, Gareth Bale is on fire at the moment. Maybe a cagey match, low score draw, say 1-1. I'll take a chance and say Defoe.

Villa/Wigan --- Let's hope my lads realise what that round white thing is that keeps bouncing off their legs and getting to the opposition and ending up in their net! Surely they can't give ANOTHER bad performance? Wigan, hmm, hard to say. May be something to prove, and they may think Villa easy pickings. Which they may very well be. Gonna go for a scoreless draw, give it to Benteke. Why? Ah sure I feel sorry for the guy.

Fulham/Swansea --- They may have lost their way a little but I still rate the Swans against anyone. Go for 2-0 to them with Michu as the man of the match.

Man U/West Brom --- Baggies will try, and will be on a high, but after 4-3 against the Toon I feel Man U will run all over them. I reckon a high-scorer, maybe 4-2 to Man U with Carrick as the outstanding player. Maybe.

Norwich/Man CIty --- Surely City will know they have to win and will turn it on? Norwich won't be any pushover though. Say 1-0 to Man City, Ballotelli as man of the match. Only joking! Let's say Aguerro.

Reading/West Ham --- Reading desperate for points and smarting from the decisions in the last game but Sam's Hammers are fired up. 2-1 to the Hammers, maybe Carlton Cole?

Stoke/Southampton --- I reckon Stoke will probably shade it, though it could go the other way. 2-1 to Stoke, Fletcher

Arsenal/Newcastle --- Now this could be interesting. Arsenal rested as their game was cancelled midweek, but Newcastle will be hurting from having played so well but lost at the death against MU. So I think I'll go for the Toon, but Arsenal will probably score too. Say 3-2 with Ba as motm.

Everton/Chelsea --- Well, on Chelsea's current form you'd have to expect them to win, wouldn't you? Hardly another high scorer, as Everton will be no pushovers. 1-0, with Mata motm. Or maybe Lampard. No, Mata.

QPR/Liverpool --- Personally I think QPR are struggling and likely to go down, though Liverpool have a way to go before they find the form they used to have. 1-0 to the Pool, Gerrard.

You are all free to laugh at me till tears roll down your face at 5pm Saturday!

Meh, 2-1 to Spurs. Was a little cagey...

No comment. I SAID no COMMENT! **** off, ok?
Seriously, wtf is wrong with these guys? That's a total of FIFTEEN against, none for, over the Christmas period. Surely the Championship beckons?

Close, but no Michu. Swans still bossed it though...

Nah. United won but only by two goals, no Carrick in sight. Hey at least Van Persie scored for my FFL team...

A real thriller, one of the games of the day if it wasn't for Arsenal's amazing, I say AMAZING performance. At least it keeps City in contention. Just.
Quote:
Reading/West Ham --- Reading desperate for points and smarting from the decisions in the last game but Sam's Hammers are fired up. 2-1 to the Hammers, maybe Carlton Cole?
Surprised to see Reading win. Big Sam's boys let him down...
Quote:
Stoke/Southampton --- I reckon Stoke will probably shade it, though it could go the other way. 2-1 to Stoke, Fletcher
Stoke could have won this at the death. High-scoring game, could really have gone either way.
Quote:

Game of the day, if not the season. Seven-three! Holy hell! Arsenal roar back with a real volley of goals to send the Toon home, smarting from not only losing, but AGAIN scoring three and still losing! They had better hope they hold on to Walcott!

That's it till tomorrow. Some amazing games. Anyone who managed to correctly predict all those scores must have a bloody TARDIS!!!
