Oh yes...
Terrible contract. Honestly right up there with the Pujols and A-Rod contracts except for that he's a couple years younger, but he's also not as good as either one.

For a 2nd baseman, aged 30, 10 years 240M? Unreal.

Assumed it was Cano.

Don't have an opinion on the blockbuster Bloomquist signing.

^ It doesn't matter where in the world you live, once a Red Sox fan, always a Red Sox fan!

And while I'm here, I posted this in another thread but it's baseball related so I'll post it here as well. My all-time favorite baseball story, told in animated form, with the late, great pitcher "Dock Ellis" narrating...

No Mas Presents: Dock Ellis & The LSD No-No by James Blagden - YouTube

Puts a big smile on my face every time I watch it!

The big story in baseball today is that MLB has FINALLY approved video replay. Jeff Maier, anyone? Armando Galarraga? Don Denkinger?

Heard about that this morning. One replay allowed per team per game. Should keep the Umps a bit more on their toes.
