The Guardians will probably do better than the Reds this season. I'm glad Cincinnati is stocking up on pitching, considering all of the injuires they've had in recent years. i just wish they would have concentrated more in this soon-to-be-over off season on getting more hitting. Gavin Lux is a good addition in that regard, but otherwise their offense appears to be questionable. I'm old enough to remember when the prevailing attitude about the Reds was "yeah, Cincinnati always has hitting, but their pitching isn't where it should be"--even in some of their championship years. Now it seems to be just the opposite. Sigh...

Well, the Reds made the last wild card spot for the playoff. That was surprising. The Dodgers promptly ended their offseason wth two staight wins. That wasn't surprising at all. I'm a Reds fan, so I must be a glutton for punishment

Well, the MLB season is about to start, and already the Reds' pitchers are succumbing to injuries. I predict they either won't make the playoffs, or barely make them as a wild card and then get promptly eliminated.
