I like going to see Charlton. It is akin to going to the theatre with well behaved fans but sadly lacking in atmosphere.
It is also a shame that your old manager just wanted to get to upton park so much and we felt bad to turn him down after all his pleas over the years.
Still Charlton are a good evenings entertainment if you can't get to the theatre that night and a quiet one one draw and then a pie and home goes down well.
One game I actually fell asleep because the crowd were so quiet.
if charlton were a band they would be emerson lake and palmer!
