How's that then?

right-track 04-16-2009 03:04 PM

Homo isn't offensive then?
I can't say Rent boy, but you can say Homo?

adidasss 04-16-2009 03:12 PM

You can't see a difference between an actual homosexual using the term homo (which is an abbreviation of homo-sexual) and football fans using "rent boy" with the intention of insulting someone? Really?

right-track 04-16-2009 03:17 PM

"Homo" isn't offensive then?

btw...rent boys refer to themselves as such.

adidasss 04-16-2009 03:19 PM

Not in this case, no.

Are you trying to tell me there is nothing homophobic about the term "rent boys"? If you can claim that with all honesty, I'll let this thing drop because like I said, I've never heard of the term before...

right-track 04-16-2009 03:23 PM

As far as I know it's a legitimate term.
No different than 'hooker' to describe a prostitute.
It's a term you'd see daily in a newspaper for example; http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2003/oc...itics.children

adidasss 04-16-2009 03:31 PM

Ok, my apologies for thinking ill of football fans...
