I'm not too bothered either, just a good excuse to get everyone down to the bar!

All I want is a good entertaining match with a decent referee, no dodgy decisions, no extra time and definately no penalties.

Is that too much to ask?

...oh, and a United victory. :D

Well there it is. :(

Well done Barcelona. Great passing football.

Just looking at the faces of the United players after the final whistle told the story.
They knew they'd underplayed tonight. Never got close enough to Barcelona all night.
And United's passing by comparison was terrible.
You can't give the ball away that easily to a team like Barcelona and expect to come away with anything.

Here's to next year.

ManU touches were horrible. I lost count of how many times they gave the ball with careless passing out of their defense and midfield. Barcelona could have made this worse than it already was. Shocked to see the Reds put up a 0 though. Sad day- at least I got some guinness and sierra nevada in me, plus 3 hot wings for $1: keep that tab open baby!

I was sort of forced to watch the the Barcelona-Man U game, not that I minded. Because here in California the game aired at 11:30 a.m., my English and physics classes were spent watching the game. So many of my classmates disappointed in Man U but of course lots of happy Barca fans.

Having seen the starting line up I wasn't at all shocked Barca won,

Giggs , Carrick , Anderson & O Shea might be a decent midfield against your run of the mill premiership side but against one of the best teams in the world I thought it was really lighweight.

I would have kept Carrick but started with Scholes , Tevez & Nani insead.

I don't get Rooney on the flank and Ronaldo up front. works sometimes but this is Barca. rooney being a pest up front would have been much better. Man U were awful there is not two ways about it.

I don't understand why Ferguson went for a 4-3-3 either. Doing that is basically trying to beat Barca at their own game.

I could understand playing that formation if you had say Rooney & Tevez/Scholes dropping off into midfield making it into a sort of 4-5-1 to pack the midfield and stifle Barca's play. But he didn't do that either.

I think united were far too confident going into the match and were completely rocked by the early goal. Iniesta is absolute class though.

If Park scored that early chance or Ronaldo that effort just after Messi's second, it would have been a very different game. That said, it was still nauseatingly one-sided overall - last year's final was much more enjoyable for the neutral.
