He does get a bit giddy doesn't he. Funny though.
The blue is typical of the species. Annoyingly smug, without having anything to actually be smug about. You can almost see the bitterness oozing from every pore of his body when Owen scores.
They're not known as "the bitters" for nothing.

I have to admit thst Sparky is turning into a right arrogant prick since the millions have been invested and has developed 'Wenger myopia' in that he only sees on the pitch what he wants to and not his players stamping on other players heads or manhandling pitch invaders. I hope they fall flat on their face and someone like Villa steal their thunder quietly

I like Sparky, but he made a fool of himself over the extra time played.
He should have got his facts right before gobbing off to the media.
I've had this argument all day with tunnel visioned bitters suffering from severe to hysterical (in both senses of the word) paranoia.
Fact is the referee did play over the alloted time...by 1 second!

As for Bellamy...he's a twat for attacking that fan. It had nothing at all to do with him.
As for the fan...he's a twat too! No right to be on the pitch under any circumstances. I think the whole incident should be forgotten about.

You've no idea how cocky the City fans are getting here. Imagine 40,000 Liam Gallaghers on speed...and then some.
They really believe they are a top 4 club already.

C'MON ON VILLA!!!

Even so, both teams have just as much likelihood to score in that time. Having just scored themselves in the last minute City should have had momentum going into that stoppage time. I bet if you offered Hughes 7 minutes stoppage time after they'd just scored he would have bitten your hand off for it.

As it happened they didn't, and now they're bitching and complaining about it.

You play to the final whistle, I have no sympathy for them.

I watched the Liverpool match on Saturday and it really is a case of take torres and Gerrard out and they are a very ordinary team and Arsenal are their usual inconsistent selves and with Villa investing in defenders this summer and being out of the europa league (a definite plus in my book), we have a damn good chance of making more of a fist of it this year.

Sparky as a player was definitely someone to be admired but he is really starting to get my goat. They do have a great squad now no denying but I can see some sort of implosion either through player power or Sparky losing the plot. 40,000 gallghers? OMFG I can think of nothing worse!

As an aside, a fitting send off today for Sir Bobby Robson today may he enjoy his football in the comfiest chair possible. RIP.

I can see him smiling right now.
A lot of managers should take a leaf out of Robson's book. A man of great dignity with a huge sense of fair play.

This is typical. Just read this statement;

Asked if the club would take any action against Bellamy, City's assistant boss Mark Bowen told BBC Radio 5 live: "No. I don't think there is any need to.

"My take is that he thought the fella might spit in his face or something," added Bowen.

"He came very close and moved towards him. Craig, with an open hand, just pushed the fella away."

Look where Bellend is to begin with. Am I missing something here?

And the fan that missed Tevez should be banned for life.

The picture below, ladies and gentlemen, is a typical and extremely sad specimen of the new age citeh fan.
The tattoo this (blue nosed twat) individual is sporting on his arm reads, rather hilariously...“2011 Champions League Winners".
A perfect excuse for football violence if ever there was one.

*note the irritating look of smug (deluded) self belief
