I'm depressed at how mediocre City have been of late.We even drew to Hull, which really is a cause for alarm.

^ My lot lost to them - imagine how that felt!

Richest football team in the world and we cannot beat the mighty Hull and their tosser manager.Yet we're still ahead of Liverpool.

This is why I love football.

After having their plea for a replay refused, I see FIFA have turned down Ireland's latest bid to get back into the World Cup Finals by turning down their request to create a 33rd place.
While I agree that the Irish were hard done by with the handball incident surely they must realise that 33 is an odd number and hardly conducive to a tournament such as this.
And did they forget that they were drawing the match at the time?
Whats next in Ireland's desperate attempt to qualify for the World Cup Finals?
A visit to FIFA from Father Ted's, Mrs Doyle?

"Ah go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on..."

I was reading that earlier too and thought the same thing. They aren't just gonna be handed a place in the finals. A replay i felt would have been fair as the teams were drawing at the time but once that gets rejected then thats about it, isnt it?

And i'm sorry but i couldn't resist...

Wenger refused to shake Hughes' hand at the final whistle.

Blackburn beating Chelski with 10 minutes to go in extra time.

I did see the last few minutes but i was distracted. I thought thats what happened though. He went straight down the tunnel didnt he? I saw what looked like Sparky go to follow him and then think to hell with it.
