It seems as if this thread has acted a veil for some good old English bashing from a certain individual. I will leave this for Renton to speak.
I would much rather be called a wanker  |
Its now interesting at the bottom as well, after West Ham`s shock home defeat last night. Portsmouth were long doomed, Burnely a cert to go down. I think its just a question now if Hull City can pull themselves out of the bottom three at the cost of West Ham who could now be in free-fall. I think teams like Wigan, Bolton and Wolves have enough quality or grit to stay up. As an Arsenal supporter I `d love to see West Ham go down.
If Chelsea still have title aspirations its a must win at Portsmouth tonight. Man.City v Everton is also interesting as both are in great form as well. |
I've got a bit of soft spot for Wolves (broke my heart when the latics beat them on their ground:D), partly because an old mate of mine supports them, and partly because Mick McCarthy's awesome. I've got a hunch Hull will be galvanised by Dowie's appointment and might just pull away from it before the Hammers do. It's gonna be an interesting one, whatever happens.

Why is Goodfoot trying to bait the English? I thought Rangers loved the English (protestant Unionism etc) and it's Celtic who hate us?:p:
Anyway, sure you may have a good Rugby Union team. But Union is ****e and Rugby League pisses on it. FACT.:p: |
Oh so we're using other sports as a criteria now.
OK lets go by Formula One world champions then to prolong this crap .... ENGLAND 11 Hawthorn G Hill x2 Clark x2 Surtees Hunt Mansell D Hill Hamilton Button SCOTLAND 3 Stewart x3 |
