It'll be a lot trickier without Rooney, but I think you could scrape through this one. Man U have this funny habit of doing just enough in vital games like this. Should be an interesting one for neutrals like myself anyway - I'm just gonna claim my place in front of the tele for it now.

Rafael off but when Van Bommel did the exact same thing in the first half, he stayed on the pitch? Crowding the ref to get players sent off. Typical Germans.

Oh well, City must have done well in the quaters, a lot of the fans seem to be gloating.

Harsh result, but whether it Rafael deserved two yellows or not, that Robben goal was absolutely spectacular.

As for tomorrow, or the sake of English football, come on Fulham!!!

If you want to look at the bright side of no English clubs being left in the CL at least most of the England squad should be relatively fresh for the world cup.

As seen by Italy in 06, that can't be underestimated in terms of overall impact on performance.

If Rafael's was a red, so was Bommels in the first half.. but ah well, that's life. Crowding the ref to actually get a player sent off is a cunts trick.

That Robben goal was brilliant, but with 11 men we were pushing for that 4th goal, and the way we were playing I'm sure we would have got it.

I feel for Rafael, he had Ribery in his pocket for 50 minutes or so. If Rafael learns the game and gets that experience and knowledge he will be a special right back.

He already is a special right-back. I mean, he scored against Wigan, so he can't be that bad eh I'm as annoyed as any Man U fan about the result, as I'd love to have seen a rematch of last year's final.

Either way, definitely gonna be a Fulham supporter for tonight - it'll be great to see them win something big in Europe, or at least get to the semis. In an ideal world; Liverpool out, Fulham through. If it's the other way round, suppose it's good for English football, but they'll be mixed emotions from me, like watching your ex drive off a cliff in your brand new car.

Rafael did something which is no mean feat! He is a good right back, but he needs to stop with the fuckerry. Diving in unnecessarily etc.

He needs to cut it out and learn, then he'll be one of the first names on the team sheet, no contest.
