Easy!
I was forgetting

A win would be a lot better and give us more of a chance of finishing above that shower of shite Bolton Wanderers, but I doubt that'll happen. As far as drawing goes, I remember when we essentially cost them the title in 07-08 with a late Heskey equaliser at the Bridge, so history's on our side...kinda.

You've already beaten them this season...you can do it again!

Let me just say. Whatever happens next Sunday, the title will be won by the best team in the Premiership.
Always has been...always will be.

What I like about this the most is the effect it will have on City's transfer options for next season.
It means without Champions League football their attempts to attract world class players is now neutralised.
And by the time they do qualify for the CL, Platini and UEFA will have implemented the Financial Fair Play Initiative.
Effectively limiting clubs like City to spending no more than £10M per season on new players.

We're the richest club, still. (in terms of what we make per year)
Does that mean we can spend or would the debt come in to play?
I have a feeling it'd be the former, if not we're fucked.

But yeah like you say, it just shuts them up for a bit longer. 4th place = Torres. Why go to City as opposed to Lolerpool? What's the difference? Non.
Only down side, it's gonna be harder to get my man Modric.

I think it's designed to effect the clubs that spend more than the profits made.
Limiting them to a set figure.
In other words...City are well shafted!

Edit: From 2012 to 2015, spending by wealthy owners like Sheikh Mansour will be restricted to covering total losses of up to £40m, falling to £30m from 2015-2018. City's owner, it has been estimated, would eventually be allowed to invest less than £10m a year in the club. BBC

That'd reduce this incredible inflation for players wouldn't it? Especially overpriced English players like Rodwell (I rate him and love him here, but come on... lower it a bit.) I'm never really sure with the money side of things, what the knock on effect would be.
