I've just come across this news, it always seems that every couple of years that a player seems to collapse like this and sadly it ends up being critical as well. The trend seemed to start with Vivien Foe (I think that was his name)

MASSIVE result tonight for United . Always a hard place to go for the Reds is Blackburn but today we did the bizzo. Get IN ! 2 great goals from the wingers ( one had 37/8 passes then bang) and a top atmosphere .
Nowt won yet but get a result against QPR and it's pressure time for City , big time .
Hope B/burn stay up for the managers sake , the **** he's had off his own supporters.
Seems like a top bloke.

BBC Sport - Manchester United 4-4 Everton

What a fantastic game. It really puts another potential and likely twist in the title race before the Manchester derby, as City play Wolves in half an hour and, of course, a win would mean there were only three points between the clubs going into next weeks game.

Gotta feel for Wolves though or at least I do. They should be relegated in a couple of hours. What a great decision it was for them to sack Mick McCarthy.

£1.00 stake, on for £143.57, surely that's not too far-fetched a card?
