Meh. They did what they needed to do. A wins a win. There wasnt much to get excited about really but at least he got to try out a few players.

Anybody catch Soccer Aid 2012 tonight? I have watched these since it's inception in 2006 and it was a decent match.

It's all in aid of Unicef and one of the VT's they showed regarding homeless children in the Philippines really got to me so I got on the phone and pledged a donation.

As for England V Norway, it's difficult to make a judgment as it was an experimental side, new manager etc but as usual we were useless in the second half and I don't get how Stuart Downing got 85 mins playing time. Every time he reached the half way line he stopped and played a pass back inside. The guy is severely lacking in confidence and not a player I would start with.

Apologies, I hadnt checked this thread when I made mine. I also made a fantasy football league at 1612173-356677.

I joined this one too but probably too late for my scoring to count this week. The scoring for the one I made doesnt start until week 2 if anyone wants to join.

Anyway....football is back!

Neither Arsenal or Liverpool did that well in their match. Neither team scored or let alone did anything special in the game.
