£40 on Real Madrid to win w/ BetFred @ 13/10 returns £92 (+£50 refunded = £142 total)

Total outgoings = £140

If United win = £70 profit
If it's a draw = £40 profit
If Real Madrid win = £2 profit

Those numbers are correct.

I'll give it a miss, don't fancy throwing across £140 onto two sites I haven't previously registered with, in all likelihood to win £2.
Also, am I to assume the betting is only valid over 90 minutes?

Yeah it's up to 90 mins. So if it goes to extra time it'll be paid out as a draw etc..

No it's guaranteed. This will be the third time I've done it.

Here's an alternative method to guarantee profit:

£50 on over 2.5 goals @ 3/5 returns £80 + £50 refunded = £130
£50 in play on under 2.5 goals @ 13/10 returns £115

Total outgoings £100

If there are more than 2.5 goals in the game you make a profit of £30
If there are less than 2.5 goals in the game you make a profit of £15

I do enjoy watching the footy on a Sunday afternoon...in the pub, of course...still haven't decided whether I prefer watching men on shorts or the several pints of Guinness that I put away...I still don't understand the rules...I just pretend to
