Disappointed with Neymar again tbh. I have watched him in about 8 games now (England, Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Barca, Argentina, few more too) and he's looked impotent every time bar a few nice touches.
Every time he's come up against quality players he's been quiet. Needs to stop being so greedy. Got a long way to go yet before he's an elite footballer imo. |

Is anyone else concerned (or hoping, depending on where you're from) that England might fail to qualify for the World Cup?
The Hodgson era is reminiscent of the McClaren era for me, I just feel no optimism toward the national side. The great teams learn from their mistakes and it's worrying that after what happen in Montenegro before, we've let a victory slip again. I know our next 4 games include 3 at Wembley but it doesn't mean anything. 2008 we only needed a draw there and Croatia beat us. I'm worried. |

I think we'll do enough to qualify, but I don't have a lot of faith in a defensive, negative looking Hodgson team. We brought it on ourselves against Montenegro, in terms of letting them get back into it and were probably fortunate to come away with the point.

I know it's the 'cool' thing to do if you follow your club to act like you don't give a fuck about England but when the World Cup comes it's far more boring if you are English and they aren't in it. People act like they don't care but then come out the woodwork when we play games like Italy in the Euros. I wanted Ireland at the Euros purely so I could laugh when they lost every game

It honestly wouldn't change a thing for me. My only problem would be that England are a much better team than whoever would place ahead of them, so in that way I suppose I would be unhappy.
