Most of the Villa fans are surprised with the lack of transfer activity. O Neill showed what he could do on a tight budget so where are the players for the extra push? We really could push into that top 4 with more players. There is still 3 weeks left of the transfer window but the best players have gone.

Top 5 in this order;
1. United 2. Arsenal 3. Spurs 4. Chelsea 5. Grannystabbers Obviously, 1st place is wishful thinking. Spurs will be a surprise this season and I don't think they've finished spending yet either. Got a feeling Chelsea will disappoint under Scolari. He's too big a manager not to make big tactical changes and I think they'll suffer for it. Everton could easily make that top 5 too and I'm tipping them for the F.A. Cup along with Spurs. |
Well today we have bought a left back and right back (Luke Young and Nickey Shorey) both English and both half decent players. At last a little bit of business from the villa.

Talking of full backs, United have two Brazilian teenage twins playing left and right, in particular Rafael da Silva made a huge impact.

Like I want to watch more Man U players that will no doubt continue to terrorise us all in later years! ;)

Good to hear Ronaldo is staying too. :D

For a year only though maybe?

I think his petulance will win through TBH and he will go next year.
