There was an episode where he went to Burnley as well, and he ended up hiding outside the pub in a hedge because the guy he was with was too intimidating for him to be around. He's such a dick.

I have to agree with Jackhammer, I am really pulling for Blackpool today. I would rather see a few established Premiership teams relegated than Blackpool. They should have been the whipping boys this season, I still don't quite understand how they haven't been, but they have had a real go at it.

They would be deserving of escaping at the last minute today.

Such a shame. Man U did what they had to do today and for the most part Blackpool hung on and gave them a fight. But ultimately they lost out in the last quarter or so of the game, which tends to be when they lose most of their points.

I will look forward to watching them attempt to bounce back in the Championship next season and you would think that they would have a real chance but you have to wonder what's gonna be left of Blackpool next season. Adam will be the first out, maybe to Liverpool. Taylor-Fletcher will get some offers. I've heard rumours of our interest in Vaughan. Campbell would probably do well for some lower Premiership clubs. I think even the likes of Phillips and Puncheon could be hunted. And what if Holloway leaves too?

Great escape for Wigan today though. They didn't just scrape through on goal difference or anything but rather got their win to make sure of it. They don't seem to win away from home often either and so to get one at Stoke is impressive.

As for Blackpool...leaving it this late and hoping to get a result at Old Trafford against the champions and a team that was unbeaten on their own ground was always asking too much.
The damage was done way before today's match. They made a fist of it though.

What a fantastic afternoon of football for the neutral. I actually spent 2 and a half hours sat in front of Sky Sports News as it all unfolded.

I really wanted both Wolves and Blackpool to stay up and the bluenoses to go down. Two out of three aint bad!

Unbelievably Villa finished ninth after what has been a terrible season and we had dropped 26 points from winning positions this season which means we could have finished second rofl.

I just hope that the Champions League final will be a great game as the whole day is planned and a great game would be the icing on the cake.

Who is going to fill Van Der Sars boots at United though

BTW- congrats Bulldog, you stayed up (again!).
