there's no doubt we'll slip down the table. we damn well better had. i told one of my housemates i'd take him on holiday anywhere if we win the league - and right now i'm thinking about heading down the bookies to put a tenner on us and cover my arse.

the realistic question would be: can we hit the next transfer window with 30+ points?

If we can then we have a much better chance of signing a better quality of player.

also looking forward to seeing the three newbies:

Fernandez, Kranjcar and Dhoula (SP).

Kranjcar's a very decent creative player and Fernandez looks a monster. Dhoula is supposed to be lightning fast, but he fell out of favour at Benfica - and one has to ask why. Soon we will know.
