Yawn

Heard it all before. And quite frankly it's boring.

Got anything interesting to add, like perhaps what YOUR teams ambitions are.

Don't confuse defensive with annoyed.

Just for the record, what exactly did i say about the Rooney thing that was wrong?

It's not so much what you said (which is wrong btw) but the usual tone of yet another football fan straining at the bit to have a go at United...it's boring!

Several of my best mates are United fans

^ Now where have I heard this kind of excuse before?

the glory hunter makes them all look stupid.

Really? How?
And how many of these glory hunters would you say actually attend Old Trafford?

My post, and RT's for that matter addressed your ludicrous claim that 90 of United fans are "glory supporters"

And then I simply asked what the Rooney saga had to do with my love for the club?
The question about your love for the club came from the friends i have that are United fans, all of them wanted Fergie to sell him, none of them could see why United should be held to ransom by one player just because of his greed.

Some fans always put the club first and other fans just want silverware, nothing means more to them than silverware no matter what it costs.

Simple as that really.

My teams ambitions are to get back into the Premier League, and stay there.

Then your friends need to stop reading The Sun.

Both descriptions could apply to any of 92 league clubs.
Did you see Notts County fans complaining when they were taken over before it went sour? Did you see QPR fans complaining when a bit of money came in the club? Did you see Portsmouth fans moaning about going into debt when they won the FA Cup?

Just because a club does win things doesn't mean other teams don't want it.

Wow thanks for that, i'll be milling over a reply to that for hours

You are clearly here to do nothing but wind people up. Keep on doing it and you won't be here long.
