I mean theoretically there could be skill involved, but those are just belligerent drunks with an audience. And for any skill to develop the "athletes" would have to practice enough that they'd probably have to wear peg legs.

MB is a bad place to ask this question cause like 3/4th of these nerds haven’t even left their basement in the last year.

out of the sports i played in high school i would definitely say cross country took the least amount of skill. it definitely still requires some skill, and you need to dedicate a lot of time and energy to prepare your body, but it’s prettt straight forward. keep your pace.

Probably true, and about me too.
When I was a teenager, I did do mixed athletics for a year or two. I wasn't half bad as long distance jumping and spear throwing.

really i was just ****ting on frown and batlord cause they're fat and couldn't play a rec league sport if they wanted to.

i think it's really easy to call a sport easy or say it requires less skill if you haven't played it, but once you try it your opinion is apt to change. i used to **** on golf a lot until i actually tried it a few times and realized just how difficult it is.

and esports are fake sports but they definitely require a **** ton of skills. different skills than, you know, actual sports, but still a ton of skill.

I can't believe I didn't know that was a thing.

I'm in awe of how anyone can be so fast and precise in any sport that involves striking a ball with a piece of equipment or a limb.

Tennis especially seems inhumanly difficult to me, considering how precise pro players actually are in holding their racket at just the right angle and orientation, swinging it with perfect precision, judging the ball as it comes at you at impossible speeds, etc.
Golf is the same, except you have time to get your shot right.

I'm not sure there's any mainstream sport that isn't impressive in terms of what the pro athletes are capable of.

About E-sports; I'm impressed at the skills of fighting game players, but probably only because I play those games myself.
