GSP is retired . . . again . . .

A prime GSP would wreck Askren. I'm not sure what shape he's currently in. He did come off the shelf after a 4 year layoff and win a world championship last year.

Probably. Matt hughes was an amazing welterweight, but he peaked when MMA was still fairly young. And Askren is still in the running, but he needs some more wins against legit competition

The UFC booked Robert Whittaker vs. Kelvin Gastelum for UFC 234 in Melbourne, Australia on February 9th. I'm having a tough time picking a winner in this one.

Benson Henderson re-signed with Bellator.

Also, this isn't new [it happened back in May], but the UFC signed a 5 year broadcast deal with ESPN.

Whittaker vs Gastelum is a coin toss I could see either of them winning. I'd give an edge to Gastelum though just for the fact Whittaker is coming back from Injury and had a war with Romero.

Good I like Ben Henderson I've always been a fan its a shame his run as LW Champ did not last longer than it did.

It looks like Cerrone vs McGregor @ 155 is in the works.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission suspended the license of UFC welterweight Cody McKenzie for 4 years for refusing to take a drug test and then submitting a false sample.

Nick Diaz is returning from his 4 year suspension to face Jorge Masvidal @ UFC 235 on March 2nd, 2019 in Vegas. The UFC definitely didn't throw him a tune-up fight for his return bout. Hope he goes the way of Dominick Cruz and proves that ring-rust is for pussies.

Floyd Mayweather has now re-signed for his new Years Eve fight with Tenshin Nasukawa. It's going to be a 9-minute exhibition boxing match.

Diaz fighting again ? I'll believe it when he's in the cage.

I'm over the Gracie hype. Everyone cross-trains nowadays. Send him to Bellator, then the UFC and see how he fairs. He's a big fish in a small pond over in RIZIN.
