► Former UFC Bantamweight Championship challenger, 12-time Flyweight Champion and GOAT contender Demetrious Johnson [27-3-1 MMA] and former Reality Fighting Lightweight Champion, MFC Welterweight Champion, BodogFIGHT Welterweight Champion, 2009 Bellator MMA Lightweight Tournament winner, 3-time Bellator Lightweight Champion and UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez [29-6-0-1 MMA] will make their ONE Championship debuts on March 31st, 2019 in Japan.
Johnson will face Yuya Wakamatsu [10-3 MMA, 0-1 ONE] in a bout for the promotion's Flyweight Grand Prix. Alvarez will face Timofey Nastyukhin [12-4 MMA, 4-3 ONE] in a bout for the promotion Lightweight Grand Prix. This will be the promotion's first event in Japan. I hope that Johnson can finally get the respect that he deserves from this new set of fans. ================================================== ================================================== =================================== ► Many fighters from the inaugural World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation's first show on November 9th say that they have still not been paid. Bas Rutten issued a lengthy statement on behalf of the promotion recently. Apparently the promotion's former execs were crooked and ignorant as fuck. ================================================== ================================================== =================================== ► Former Shooto Middleweight Champion, 4-time Cage Rage Middleweight Champion, 11-time UFC Middleweight Champion and GOAT contender Anderson Silva [34-8-0-1 MMA, 17-4-0-1 UFC] says that he has 3 more fights in him until he retires for good, and he wants super-fights with former Cage Warriors Featherweight and Lightweight Champion, 2-time UFC Featherweight Champion and former Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor [21-4 MMA, UFC] and 2-time UCC Welterweight Champion, 12-time UFC Welterweight Champion and former Middleweight Champion and GOAT contender GSP [26-2 MMA, 20-2 UFC]. Given everyone's sizes, I would say that Silva / GSP is more likely than Silva / McGregor. |

There has to be more impressive pants-filling in the game, come on.
