Question Yamaha Monitors Interference...

I have a fairly simple setup for recording, with some Yamaha HS50M's for playback, anything can be plugged in and no noise...but once the computer itself is plugged in for power, in any outlet in the room as well as the surge protector...all hell breaks loose and i get electronic interference coming through the speakers...i know that my 1/4" cables leading to the audio interface arent great, but other than that I can't see what the problem could be...anyone know? Thank you for your time.

Go to the settings for your sound card and check the latency setting. It may be set too high causing a high frequency hum.
