Looks like they don't make mine anymore... they look kind of like the CX300s but different. Still great though, I've had them for a year and a half with no problems. Sennheiser gained a customer for life out of me.

Trace is their any flaws to the hd280's ? Or is there any better that you've experienced ?

debaserr 11-25-2008 11:30 PM

well i havent bought anything other than sennheiser hd280's($80) and pc151s($50). but i have listened to my friends bose and they kick their ass. great great value at $80. go for it. also, they are closed(and pretty much sound tight, I usually dont notice people talking to me.

I dunno I listened to my friend's bose and honestly I didn't think they were much better then what I had. Also durability was a huge flaw. He had the bose for a year and a half and had 3 seperate breaks on the arch and had both ear pieces glued on. For $150 I honestly would have expected better.

I've got Sennheiser as well, I love 'em.

Talk about an upgrade... I didn't realize 280's were so much bigger. I'm loving them

what he said lol

I wondered why the bass sounded soo flat.. I went into my HD audio manager and put headphones and output both to bass.. sounds sooo clean and powerful.

Sennheiser PXC-150 Portable Noiseguard Headphones - in stock at Sound and Vision

What do you think about these for some portable ones? That's about as far as my budget will go i'm guessing, as gorgeous as the PXC-250 look.
