Help with equip to gig a digital piano

Hi all, I've searched relentlessly for this info...

I have a yamaha p60 that I'm looking to use for gigs instead of borrowing. I don't use keyboard effects - just the piano so I need a nice, rich piano sound in the amp.

Usually it's just me singing and playing, but every now and then I'm up there with other band members as well (drums, bass, guitar) so I need flexibility in volume / power.

Here's my issue: the p60 only has a 1/4" headphone output and MIDI out - there are no XLR outputs or L/R outputs...

I'm on a fairly tight budget so would want the most bang for my buck. Looking for any and all suggestions (including PA speaker with mixer, specific ones that would give a great piano sound along with vocals, and also potentially keyboard amps though they're huge, heavy, and expensive for what you get from them).

My biggest issue is the 1/4" headphone jack for output, and I can't stress enough that the piano needs to sound like a piano - not some tinny sound coming from it.

Get a 1/4" cord and plug into any amp. I've done it with decent results on cheaper keyboards.

Thanks Plankton, but I'm looking for something a bit more specific - "any amp" wouldn't really do the trick as some amps wouldn't support the frequency range of a digital piano.

I'm looking to get something I can trust at gigs.

Any others that might be able to chime in?

Sounds like you need a keyboard amp. Roland makes nice ones, something like this kc-150 should do well enough

Pianos cover all frequencies.
and the range of human hearing is 20hz - 20Khz so look for a PA with that capability if your playing at gigs everything is normally mic'd
you dont mic up keyboards they are plugged in Via Jack 1/4" into the stage box.
