How Spotify recommends your music (as YouTube)

I uploaded my first single to Spotify and I’m just wondering if Spotify will start to recommend my single as YouTube by analyzing audience preferences and how soon after uploading it might happen? For example, on YouTube it takes about 3 months to be added to “suggested videos”. I know it because I have YouTube channel.

Obviously, no one will search my single just because I’m not Justin Bibber or Lady Gaga but if my single will be suggested by Spotify I can have some listeners.

You’ll never reach the point where Spotify recommends you.

You gotta really play the algorithm hard.. You won't be recommended to anyone unless tons of people already listen to your song regularly.

well, it is possible to be recommended on the "discover weekly" playlist.

It's really made based solely on the listeners history, and you can find some weird, unknown, niche stuff

how are you called on Spotify?

And what kind of music do you do?
I guess you won't get recommended anywhere f you do trap or modern pop, unless you'd have millions of views, but if you're some sort of avant-garde-indie-jazz composer, you could get recommended to some niche listeners through their discover weekly
