Thumbs up Surf Guitar Anyone?

Hi, I'm Strange But Angelo from Strange But Surf. I play Drums but I also get to play Guitar. I normally play a 95 American telecaster, but w/o a wammy bar, it cant cut it as a Surf Guitar. Looked into an Am. Strat, but couldnt find on in the color I wanted...

So I wander into this music store (here on NY's Long Island) and I found this Dillion DM75. Its a copy of the most famous Surf Guitar of all time... The Mosrite! As played by The Ventures, Jonny Ramone and the B-52's. Kurt Kobain used a univox copy as well.

So I play it, thinking its going to play like a cheap copy, But no I was blown away. It play like butter, low action and smooth right off the shelf! I lowered the bridge further ant put 0.9's on it and its amazing. The bigsby style wammy is soooo sensative and doesnt throw it out of tune.

Even more amazing is that it was only $500 bucks! Vintage one co for 3-6000 dollars! "New" ones cost $1500 and are only sold in Vegas! The quality, fit and finish are way beautiful. If you want the king of Surf Guitars, but cant afford it, try one of these out.

SBA, Strange But Angelo
