First songs I learned were iron man, smoke on the water, smells like teen spirit, and the intro to stairway. Most people should be able to learn these by ear... Then once I got better some really fun ones i started playing included crazy train and thunderhorse (these 2 have a really similiar riff), master of puppets, fade to black, six, and if you really wanna prove you're a pro, crossing the rubicon
