According to my opinion music and drumming is subjective, and everyone will have their own idea of who the best drummers are.

My FAVORITES are these, at least right now. Tomorrow may be different.

Vinnie Colaiuta ( He can play anything out there.)
Gregg Bissonette
Phil Ehart (Kansas)
Mike Portnoy
Will Kennedy (Yellowjackets)

he is such a douchebag. yeah hes good but there are definitely better I can think of like Zach Hill or Greg Saunier.

All these prog drummers are lame. I have respect for them and everything but they really don't compare to some of the drummers today.
