Okay, I'm gonna stop trying soon! My advice would be to sell the current guitar and use the money to buy a left handed guitar.

My friend is lefthanded and she has no problem playing righty guitar

Nope.
Not unless you reversed the nut and the saddle on the bridge.
The saddle is set at an angle for intonation.

Isn't that dependant on the individual guitar.

I know it is for acoustic.

littleknowitall 12-31-2007 09:50 AM

Im pretty sure you could still do it on like an epiphone or vintage or gibson.

right-track 12-31-2007 09:52 AM

Without reversing the nut?

As mentioned above, you could restring it and play it upside down and left-handed. Or, you could buy a left-handed guitar. Elliot Easton of The Cars plays a lefty.

So there you have it Rez.
Either learn to play a right handed guitar upside down, or have one modified, or you could always be a smart arse and buy a left handed guitar...

:pssst: they're for left handed people dontchaknow.
