I wonder if its due to the terrible quality control...

That's really funny, considering I play the best on my Explorer PRO. And it made me go insane because I thought I'd never get it, then found one, unused on Ebay.

Never said they didn't EVER make good guitars. Just that its becoming a more and more rare occurence, hence why I tend to link that thread a lot when people appear that suddenly love gibson.

FireInCairo 08-24-2008 05:58 PM

i havent found a gibson that comes close to my maton
theyre just overrated and overpriced

guitargirl_93 08-24-2008 07:58 PM

Oh, I've always loved Gibson. haha

sweet_nothing 08-25-2008 12:28 AM

Ive played the Gibson and Epiphone SG and I liked the Epiphone better :x

guitargirl_93 08-25-2008 12:29 AM

That's understandable. Everyone has a preference and "their" guitar. :)

Definately the "Frabkenstein" (Eddie Van Halen's). But other then that i would say a Gibson les Paul or a Gibson Robot

Got a few guitars, but my favorite one I bought at a garage sale about 10 years ago for five dollars. Its called the Terminator and has a little built in amp with an on/off toggle. The actual guitar is a piece of ****, but its still my fav.
