That goes for all tabs, some music major you are.
Not if you actually go to a good site, such as mxtabs where the tabs are approved by other players.

How isn't the language consistent? The tabs symbols for each thing are fairly universal and if there's anything fancy most sites (good ones) throw in a key at the bottom or on a how to read tabs section on the front page. You came into this thread
drum tabs - Google Search
Wrong.

Yeah, you listen to it and you have to then remember it all right? It's much easier if you - oh that's right write it down in someway and tabs are much easier to write out then anything else. So you sit there and you tab it out the song which requires either repeated listens or a lot of play pause listens, so after spending 10 minutes (probably longer) tabbing that out you have your tabs when it could've taken you five seconds to google it.

with no technical knowledge, tabs are the only resort; tabs are for people with no technical knowledge.

It doesn't take any technical knowledge to listen to a song and know that they just hit the cymbal either.

how can you possibly complain about generalizations whe youve just made a very broad and brash generalization about music majors? how many do you know? do you know me?

Several have come on this site and acted in the same manner you have, it gets tiring especially when the stuff they're spouting is just elitist nonsense. You came in here and did just that, not only did you not answer his question or post anything relevant or worth debating you had to turn around and add some insults to his musical ability to your post. What did you contribute here? Absolutely nothing.
