Ok...

Maybe we could agree on a consensus of VSTs that would serve as the "Core" of ALL wanted synth patches.

For me, I'd like to nominate...

FM7 - Obviously for the DX7 Family of Sounds
Pro-5x - For Prophet-esque Sounds

Would other folks be willing to help come up with these Core VSTs, and maybe we could eventually build a small Database of settings to achieve specific key patches used in specific tunes.

Just an idea.
