Anyone else have one?

I've had some nice amps. When I went to get a small amp, that was new, I was expecting to spend some cash.

Aiming for a nighttrain, with a possible splurge option.

I picked the 8" champ because I needed something small, reasonably versatile, and most of all, sound good at a low volume.

I only tried it because I was literally trying everything, and even assumed it's solid state. It isn't. And it's not some joke of a valvestate either, or any other amp that only has a preamp tube.

and it was under 2bills. I did change out the 12ax7 though, so $20 more got rid of all humming.

Any opinions on the XD?

Or one of my other choices, which was the egnater, nightrain, & so on.
