Default Mystery Guitar

I have a vintage guitar, that looks as if it is out of the 40s, or 50s. My best guess is that it is a Gibson L'47. The only problem is the headstock looks like that of an earlier Martin. I will add the pictures, if anyone can help it would much appreciated. I hope this is the right place to put this, I still and new XD

Interesting guitar man. I do not think its a gibson though. The headstock is slightly off any stock Gibson model I can think of. Ill keep looking but I honestly am not sure, this is a challenge.

thank you, yeah I enjoy the hunt. The headstock looks like a Martin. I have never seen a martin like that though. I was thinking Harmony, but am having no luck finding any that look like it.

You should refinish that in natural or a sunburst if your up to it. It would seriously be ****ing beautiful.

I totally agree, I could really dig something like that. I was thinking Cherry Sunburst. Btw nice avatar, Randy Rhoades is definitely in my top 5 favorite guitarists of all time.

Oh btw, I took it to my friend who is a luthier today, and he thinks it is either a Harmony, or a Sears/off brand. He said he was not confident in either of his guesses though, he really hasn't a clue he said.

In that avatar, I'm seeing Geezer, Tony, Ozzy, and Bill Ward.

Randy had nothing to do with Ozzy until the boys kicked him out of Sabbath

The picture cuts off on the bottom. Keep following it down, and you'll see Randy tag teaming Ozzy and Tony's snausages
