I've played the theremin for a couple years. Got a nice moog one at the moment.

Viola> violin.

Seriously, with my big hands, I prefer the wider finger spacing. Plus it doesn't sound like a cat being murdered.

I've always wanted a left handed keytar. Go on, try to find one, I dare you.:(

My next investment (for an instrument) may be a theremin.

I could also probably pick up a dulcimer or two next time I head to the flea market for fairly cheap - but those really aren't that weird of an instrument. Pretty much everyone I know has a dulcimer.

I always wanted to play: Hurdy Gurdy, Harpsicord(real, not electronic), and Church Organ(same).

Obviously, none of the 3 are feasible.

I made a frankenstein guitar with an old fender squire. i basically attachted sitar strings on the top of it, while leaving the guitar there as well. It is alot of fun and looks like the devil crapped it out.

Anybody ever try preparing an instrument?
