I know a guy that made one out of a propane tank. If you search "home made hang drum" on YouTube you can find a video of a guy who made his own, as well. That's probably my next project.
And I play drums, and various odds and ends that you can beat, smack, or bash with sticks.

I play trumpet and clarinet, I used to play guitar when I was younger, but then I stopped because EVERYONE played it because it made them feel cool or something, so I didn't want to come off as that.

This is really cool, I have seen these before. I used to play steel drum for a couple years, and it seems as if they made the drums convex. That or they flipped them upside down and banged divots the other way.
Simple enough to make a new instrument, but brilliant enough to kick yourself for not thinking of it hahaha.
Anyways they make beautiful music!!

I want to play Triangle in an orchestra
- count out 185 bars of rests
- go "ding"
- get paid
in HS band i play percussion including triangle, cymbals, chimes, xylophone, glockenspiel, tambourine, etc... and counting measures is actually harder then you may think espeically if it's in an odd time signature, and i actually read the music it becomes somewhat complex. also if you want to play triangle in an orchestra they prefer versatile percussionists a percussionist who can and is willing to play many different percussion instruments.

I play guitar. I'm pretty horrible at it though. I would like to learn bass. My Dad bought a bass like 10 years ago and never learned to play it and it was just gathering dust in the basement so I now have it in my room as decoration. And the amp as a table. I did learn to play a bit of Seven Nation Army on it once. But besides that, I'd also like to learn piano and possibly drums. I dunno if I have the coordination required for drums though.
