Just bought my first guitar a few days ago, a steel-string acoustic I got for pretty cheap. Want to learn to play that this summer and might eventually try singing. Don't really think I'll ever be too good at either, just something I think I would enjoy doing in my free time.

Played guitar since c.1970, bass since the mid-'80's. Taught myself some mandolin over the last couple years. Can play a few chords on ukelele and banjo too.

Judging from your avatar you'll be pleasantly surprised to learn how relatively easy I Could Have Lied turns out to be on guitar. Though my very first tune was Suck My Kiss :afro:

Really? Cool. Might have to check it out later. Pretty far away from learning a song right now, but I'll keep it in mind lol. Thanks for the tip.

I've played drums for 7 yrs now, and I'm becoming a professional musician. it's hell of fun :)
