Default Help for silent violin!!!

Hey all

Im thinking of getting a silent violin. But I have a few questions on how it works.

1) When you plug headphones to it, does it mean that absolutely no one can hear you play except through the headphones? Not even a teeny weeny bit?

2) Will you be able to somehow connect your com, silent violin and headphone together so that you can play a track from your com, listen to it via the headphones, at the same time also connect the headphones to the violin, so that you hear both the track and what you play on the violin through the same headphone?

3) Is the silent violin so simple that it works like an electric violin, plugging it into an amp and it'll be able to work? (btw, can I use a typical guitar amp? for eg fender, yamaha) Of course assuming that the mixer and all the other stuff are in place.

Im thinking of getting a Mendini silent violin off eBay--its the cheapest I can find since I wanna start with something small scale first. I would have given you guys the link but Im a new member so I will need 15 posts to be able to do that.

All help and suggestions appreciated! Thanks
