Post Help identifying a luthier

I have recently acquired a really cool instrument. It's a mandolin, but with the bowl back body of a lute. i'm trying to find out more about it, but some of the label inside is scratched off. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could help me identify the luthier, or anything about the instrument, that would be awesome.

i'll type out the label exactly as i see it:

Louis S(scratched off)
Maker
Hand-made violins,
mandolins, guitars,
zithers, etc.

no. 1616 Vine Street
Cincinnati, O.

Thanks guys
