^^I know he's banned, but my God that's one of the most uneducated statements about guitars I've ever heard.

I played a $30,000 acoustic (forgot what brand, might have been an Applegate) at a local guitar store one day. The owner was kind enough to even let me in the room where he had close to 50 or so VERY high end ones, and I asked if I could play the most expensive. He cautiously agreed and handed it to me. I played for about 2 minutes on this thing, and it was the most rigid, non-responsive acoustic I've ever played. I learned that the type of wood used on it was meant to be "Aged" and "Worn-In" from playing and would eventually soften and mold to the player over time. Made a lot of sense to me since my Washburn has been doing the same since 1999.

Btw, I bought my daughter a Yamaha acoustic a few years back. It's not old... yet.
