Ibanez!!
Me first guitar was ibanez.
So we have history and i've always played with ibanez guitar's for the most part.

yep...same. started with one....have one now.....about to get another one...(a vintage one..) score..

telecasters are good yes. going back a few.

It's all about the Gibson S.G. for me!!!I love the sound of a Gibson S.G. and have noticed that many musicians have felt the same throughout the years!!!Here are a few examples:
1.Angus Young-AC/DC.
2.Tony Iommi-Black Sabbath.
3.Eric Clapton-Cream.
4.Buddy Guy.
5.Jimmy Page-(12string)Led Zeppelin.
6.Etc...I'm just too tired at the moment to think of the rest!!!Reply if you can think of more in the meantime, cheers!!!:beer:

PRS are just a more expensive slightly more consistent version of gibson.

Carvin on the other hand are a fully handmade custom shop who have a legendary reputation as being some of the finest instruments available to mankind and were also the axes of choice for one Jason Becker and Marty Friedman.


Now please, go and play a Carvin before you start saying your favourite overpriced guitar brand are so much better than them. And when I say that I don't mean 'Go and play a 15K PRS set up by jesus, then compare it to a 1500 basic carvin from 1984 with a rusted bridge'

I mean 'Go and actually compare things before you claim the superiority of either'

Well my favorite brand would have to be Hagström. I don't like the new models one bit but the vintage Hagströms are so much fun to mess around with and have god-like action.

I'm a Gibson and Fender man. Thing is, I use an Epiphone, and my dad uses a Squier. :D

Meh...

Although, I'd like a Danelectro. Or maybe a Johnny Ramone Mosrite.

i don't give half a crap what the brand name is so long as it sounds right and stays in tune. i'm not perfect i don't expect my instruments to be either. i'll learn their nuances and use them to their fullest advantage when the time comes.
