A lot of elements influence the make of a guitar. The pick-ups, the strings, the material, and so on. A good guitar sound is also quite dependent on the amp the guitar is plugged into. But theoretically, Carvins and Fenders for me.

I love my ibanez that i have..its mid-high range guitar and is amazing..im sure there are better guitars out there but if you cant make a crap guitar sound good you just gonna sound crap anyway...

Id love a G&L telecaster style guitar...far out they are lovely...

Anyone got a G&L? What do you think of them?

Fender <3 Gibsons are superior, and Ibanezes' are great for shredding, but I just love the feel and vibe of Fenders.

Modern day gibsons are on the whole rubbish, quality control has plummeted.

But the price has skyrocketed, so it all evens out.

Seriously though, you can find a vintage '50s Telecaster for cheaper than a new Gibson LP Standard. Fuck that.

Fender Telecasters look really smart. It's a good design. And the sound is crispier. Have a lot brighter tone. Dual pickup.

Telecasters wanted to sound like pauls in the 70's, hence the tele deluxe.

Ive played a number of strats, and i must say, there is simply no guitar ive ever loathed as much as i loathe a strat. The first time i laid hands on my epiphone Les Paul, it was like the skys parted and god but it in my hands. I love the weight, I love the way it feels and sounds, and nothing looks better than a gold top. Since then ive had the oprtuniy to play my friends gibson les paul equipped with a stets bar, and it was even better. practically plays itself.
Ive also got a dean flying v but i was shocked at how light such a huge instrument could be. Sounds amazing and plays well, but doesnt have that weighty in control feel i love about les pauls. Much love for my hundred dollar ibanez gio though. I love it way more than any fender strat ive ever played.
