Default Looking for a new electric guitar

Can I get some suggestions on a mid level electric guitar? I'm thinking in the range of $400-$500?

Definetly an Ibanez would be a good investment at that price.

after having a look on music123.com, i think id recommend the SZ320 if you want double humbuckers or the SA160QM if you want some more versatility with the single coils.....

Or - not to boggle your mind with model #'s - The S470 has double humbuckers- bridge & neck, and a single smack dab in the middle plus a really nice locking trem system. Musicians Friend has it for $479. Very nice guitar for the money.
