custom guitar for ruby

Hey! I have long wanted to change my old electric guitar for a new, ST-type. My old guitar is fine too, but I guess I just want a prettier guitar. I thought it would be possible to assemble a custom guitar, but before that I had no such experience, so tell me how not to mess up when you assemble a guitar? suddenly I choose the wrong parts or it just won't sound... Or will it be collected for me according to my order? that is, I can not bathe and just order?
