Default boogie woogie

Hello all, I am a beginner on the piano but I am interested in boogie woogie. I have a copy of PLAY BOOGIE WOOGIE by Hal Leonard. On page 31 there is a set of exercises which I have no problem with apart from the one starting at bar 17. My question is this, do all the notes in the right hand have the same length as they are wtitten and if so how soon after the second note in the laft hand should the third note in the right hand be played as there does not seem to be the room for it. I have no doubt that it will be obvious to someone out there so please excuse my ignorance. By the way I am 83 and keen to learn. Thank you.
