Someone asks me if I think RHCP is a great band I'll say yes.
Someone asks me if I think they're overrated, I'll say yes.
Someone asks me why, I'll say because they're reciving too much positive feedback/attention for By The Way and Stadium Arcadium and those are two of their worse albums (in my opinion).

For swim:
they're slowly becoming overrated refers to RHCP the band not their albums, which is my reasoning behind viewing them as overrated amongst other things.

No offence Raine but if you went into a thread & actually answered the question rather than posting about 20 times babbling a load of incoherent nonsense that doesn`t even answer the question people might be able to see the points your trying to make.
It`s hardly surprising you contradict your self so much when you post so often & put so little thought into what you`re posting.

Most of the time I have no idea what you are trying to say.

I would agree with Good Charlotte actually. I am into them and think their music is alright but compared to other great bands they aren't so great as they are potrayed.

People still listen to GC? That's as stupid calling Simple Plan an emo band.

Anything on the radio is way overrated, and the local bands in my town.

Sysitom of a Down. I thought they were the worst metal band of all time and yet some how they keep geeting praised. There music sucks, they sound like brave heart trying to be metal, the back up singers voice is ear bleeding bad and they cant perform live. Watch them live you will see they cant play there instruments and you can barly hear there voice.

GreenDay is vary overrated I dont see what makes them so special and there big sell outs to. They change there styil to fit Mianstream more. Now there depressing emo pop types and wont stop talking about Politcs. (And I hate it whean bands start talking about Politics weather its pro-Republican or Pro-Democrat because after a while the song begins to remind me of a Poltical add and I just want to be entertaind and not lectured)

The Chili Peppers are repetive, maybe if you take your 'boyfriend's **** out of your ear, you'll realize that.
Compared to any 70s punk band, they're really not.

And anyone who thinks Good Charlotte and Simple Plan are overrated is very slow, get with the times, no one likes GC and SP anymore, thus they cannot be overrated.
