I have never understood the fixation on these prepackaged manufactured products offered as "Entertainment"...I realize they are specifically targeted at the teen market but they are just so "Lame and Boring" I never supported any artists like Britney, Backstreet Boys, Hannah Montana etc., they simply do not exist on my musical radar IMO.

Well...The music industry realizes young teenage girls eat those types of "artists" up....So they seek them out and Over hype them, and shove them in your face.

I offer as another highly overrated artist,,,Madonna...I personally can't stand her or her "Music",,,if that's what you want to call it. I really can't name any of her songs, but then again she doesn't warrant my attention on any level. I must admit I find it a little disheartening that just because she has an overabundance of "WHOREMOANS", that she became a superstar. From my perspective her best work to date was with the champagne bottle in "Truth or Dare".(Hey she filmed it so I feel comfortable using it as a reference point.) I wonder what she'll tell her kids when they grow up and watch her videos etc...should be highly amusing/embarrassing if nothing else. IMHO of course,,, and I am in favor of all women getting a fair deal no matter what profession they are in.(Chrissy Hynde of the Pretenders blows Madonna away.)

I don't think I mentioned "Womens Rights" anywhere in my post, and the fact that there aren't as many successful women in music as men definitely resonates with what I said. I just want people to be certain that it's Madonna I think is overrated, and not because she's a woman breaking boundaries etc. Just being specific,,,if you read it again, I'm sure you'll see it keeps with my main theme.

Hannah Montana / Miley Cyrus is a self-absorbed media obsessed whore who isn't cool with just being pornographied by Annie Liebowitz but wants to make her own risque myspace photos and youtube videos.
