Really? I don't hear this a huge amount although both The Wall AND Dark Side Of the Moon are overrated.

The Wall for sure! but I think Darkside is pritty kick ass... I mean it has some of Pink Floyd's greatest work on it, On The Run, Time, Great Gig...

It's usually touted as the apex of psychedelia (which could not be further than the truth) and has earned enormous cult icon status everywhere. Sure, it's good, it may be among Pink Floyd's best, but it's pretty safe to say it's overrated.

Where to begin?

The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The White Stripes, The Strokes....

edit:.....and how could I forget the Doors and Pink Floyd.

These acts had great songs in a few cases but are so overrated it isn't even funny.
