I don' think the Sex Pistols are overrated, just Sid Vicious.
And, I definitely don't think The Clash are overrated, but I guess if it weren't for them and The Damned and the Buzz****s, there wouldnt be the current pop/punk movement.

i'm not saying they shouldn't have been around or anything, I just don't care too much for either of them. I think people fuss over them too much and they're not that great.

Yeah, I think people don't realize that they are just as popular (if not more popular) as the "mainstream" bands they despise so much. But my problems with them are all differnt. Pistols were talented, except for dipsh*t Sid Vicious. I have no problems with Ramones, but i think if you hate Green Day, then by the same logic you should hate the Ramones. And, I have a hard time saying anything bad about the Clash, cause I like Joe a lot, but they did have quite a few lame-o songs.

Sid was an idiot. I must say a pretty fuckin hot one but I won't get into that...I hate green day, but I don't hate the ramones, its not like i absolutley love them or anything, they get annoying after a while, I do like them more than the sex pistols or the clash. I like like..2 songs by the clash...i really don't like them that much at all.

Dark side of the moon was a bloody good package. The music, the concept, the cover, all came together. For me, it was the first time we'd had great lyrics. David Gilmour on Dark Side Of the Moon.
